I hold hope
that one day,
my words will be found
in some abandoned home,
long after I am gone,
and a lost soul will know
the beauty
of owning
a past artists secrets,
and feel
they have uncovered
a forgotten treasure.
Check out my book, The Four Stages of Poetry, available on amazon!
Ah, the power of words and poetry! Your poem reminded me of Mr. Keating from the Dead Poets Society :))

I need to check that out, I’ve never seen it, but Poetry, AND Robin Williams?? How have I never heard of this? I’m going to assume this is a high compliment.

Relatable, even though I mainly type out my words. The simplicity in each line gives the poem a faster pace but the story and meaning is still noticed and pondered on, I love it. And don’t worry, I think your words are always going to be somewhere and read for centuries to come, I’m looking forward to buying your book so I can read it (duh) and pass it on to my future maybe one day kids 🙂

Its a shame that humans die. With all the talent and hard work that they do. Could we live forever…is it possible we were meant to? Psalm 37 9-11 says it will happen. I look forward to it. http://www.jw.org
